Every conservatory is built in the highest grade oak a timber favoured by architects and builders through the centuries. Not only is oak a beautiful timber famed for its medullary rays it is also highly durable and will out last all other woods used in conservatory production.

Richmond Oak believe that a conservatory or an orangery should be designed in a manner that reflects your tastes and compliments the architecture of your home. In fact in 2006 every conservatory designed by Richmond Oak was individually designed and manufactured. No two conservatories were built the same.

Richmond Oaks creativity is not limited to standard styles and shapes and in recent times they have taken commissions for conservatories on the second storeys of buildings, conservatories with huge sliding doors, chunky traditional wet oak styles and even mimicked the arts and craft style of last century.

All of Richmond Oaks conservatories are installed with high specification glass, maintenance free aluminium capping and high security locking systems. They are either provided in a micro porous paint or can be oiled to naturally weather. However, an increasingly common trend is now to paint the exterior and leave the interior in the natural oak.
